This special photo project came about when a friend of mine brought me this picture of her Aunt's Wedding...early 1900s Czechoslovakia. The wedding dress, for religious reasons, was black...but the niece sincerely desired to remember her Aunt in a white wedding dress. With a new task at hand, I went to work on this piece. Inverting the dress's color was not the hard part, but getting all around those flowers was a task!
What a wonderful opportunity to make this special couple's wedding portrait a cherished memory for generations.
